Someplace Sunny is a Melbourne-based photography and styling studio run by partners Julius and Giselle. After relocating from Manila, we’re excited to bring our expertise to the vibrant creative scene here.
While we specialize in food photography and styling, our passion also extends to interior, product, and portrait photography. Giselle leads creative direction, client relations, and orchestrates the flow of each shoot, while Julius is the technical mastermind, ensuring every shot is flawlessly executed.
For us, photography is more than just a profession—it’s a way to express our love for food and our passion for aesthetics. When we’re not behind the lens, you’ll find us exploring new destinations and seeking out fresh experiences that inspire our work.

To kick things off, we’ll ask you to fill out a client assessment form so we can understand your specific needs. Once we receive it, we’ll get in touch to sort out the details and move into planning—sourcing props, materials, and everything else needed to bring your vision to life.
shoot
On shoot day, we make sure every product is meticulously cleaned, prepared, and styled to perfection. Every detail, from the surface to the smallest prop, is carefully considered to capture the perfect shot.
optimize
After the shoot, we carefully shortlist, edit, and retouch the photos. The final images are then uploaded online and sent to you, ready to be used across any platform you choose for your brand.
